Anne Heck is an author, artist, speaker and facilitator of workshops for women and girls. A survivor of violent sexual assault at age twenty-six, Anne devoted much of her adult life to healing the trauma associated with this incident. Anne has completed Barb Kobe’s Medicine Doll online course, and she facilitates healing doll workshops and spiritual growth circles for women and girls; she was the featured artist in the 2016 Survivor Art Show in Asheville, NC. She’s passionate about sharing her healing dolls and offers presentations with themes of healing, overcoming adversity, and art as therapy.
Anne lives in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of NC with her husband of thirty years and her sweet retriever pup.
